i've never seen you in a debate with CaMIRO, but I dunno what i would do, I was just thinking of the Vette vs. 911, they both have an image but I'd think the Porsche would have more, so i'm not even sure about that, much less 911 vs. the Hyundai

CaMIRO always maintains that heritage is important, and I always say to focus only on the current product at hand.

And that's why luxury brands with prestige are able to turn out subpar products at inflated prices. It's not enough for a lesser-known competitor to have a better product, they must also compete with a price advantage.

It isn't that big of a deal to me. As long the car has decent performance, isn't too heavy, has good fuel ecnomony and a decent interior. Badge snobs might laugh at me for buying the less prestigous brand, but I don't really care.

I would say prestige matters almost not at all to me. I would never buy a mercedes or BMW over an infiniti or Lexus that was a better car just for the brand. However, when it comes to something like Hyundai versus Porsche... I don't know. I really don't like Hyundai, and I'll have to take a little time to get to liking them, now that they're making decent cars.

So what you're saying is that you don't mind buying a vehicle with some prestige that's just not the most prestigious, but when it comes to a prestigeless brand like Hyundai, you'd have second thoughts.

Id pick the cheaper but better car, Im not a guy who likes cars just because of the brand who made it. Ferrari is my favorite maker and I have to say I dont like the F430. But yea definatly the better car

Yeah I would. Its like the NSX. "Hmm, a Carrera 4S or a Honda?" Even Top Gear thinks its pathetic; just because it doesnt have a badge with a prancing horse or something.
