An SUV can be had with four-wheel-drive, they look more agressive than a minivan, and would probably fare better in an accident thanks to their substantial mass. A minivan generally has more passenger and cargo space, is cheaper, and gets better fuel economy. Which would you chose? Post your reasons.

I chose minivan. Cheaper, more comfortable, more room. I don't need off-road capabilities or macho styling.
