I chose the Acura TSX, for excellent handling and interior quality, good expected reliability and fuel economy, a high-quality shifter, and a lot of features for the money. My full list:

I chose the TL because it's sharp looking, powerful, and has a nice interior. Kevin, I can't begin to tell you how wrong your rankings are, from any viewpoint... I hate the X-Type, but I don't think it would be last, the CTS definitely wouldn't be first, and the ES wouldn't be next to last. Oh well, like you said, you havent been around them.
