Kia Pens KCD-II Concept for Detroit



Kia has issued this illustration of the KCD-II concept, set to be unveiled at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The second concept vehicle from Kia's California design center, Kia says the vehicle shows what a potential three-row, seven-seater SUV from the Korean company would look like. The 192-inch concept has a 116-inch wheelbase. Kia has long sought a vehicle that would be capable of moving it upmarket in the SUV class; the same vehicle might potentially spawn a pickup truck as well, another niche the company is interested in competing.
