Viper Coupe

We’ll give you a closer gander of this one in the February issue, of which subscribers have already greased the pages. For the commitment-phobic among you who have yet to toss a check in the mail for us, here are the highlights: First of all, you’ll notice more of a resemblance to the previous-generation coupe, thanks to revised sheetmetal from the doors back. The shape of the back glass isn’t quite as aggressive as the Competition Coupe, but the nod to both papas is there. Two cool concessions to the track are the preservation of the “double bubble” roofline to better accommodate your noggin shell at track days, and an easily removable headliner to give your helmet some extra breathing room. Other than a top that takes more than a few seconds to open up (or some real wild driving to lower) and the revised tail, the coupe is basically the same car as the convertible. Same 500/500/500 engine, same suspension, same steamroller gumballs waiting to sign your John Hancock to the pavement just outside the showroom.

Those wheel hunches ruin the car's look.

I think the cabin shape ruins the cars look.
