Today's opening of the Chicago Auto Show to the media will bring with it the biggest truck cabin yet devised by Dodge. The new Ram Mega Cab has so much room-44.2 inches of leg room in the back, created by putting a short bed on a long-bed wheelbase and stretching the cabin-that the rear seats recline and fold flat. The Mega Cab sports 145.2 cubic inches of interior space too, leaving no doubt as to why engineers have dubbed it the "Dodge Maybach." Overall the cab is 20 inches longer than the standard Quad Cab and sits at 111.1 inches long, a foot longer than a Ford Crew Cab. Dodge's Cummins turbodiesel or the 345-hp, 5.7-liter HEMI are offered; the latter has a five-speed automatic, the former a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. In heavy-dutiest configuration the Mega Cab tows 15,800 pounds and carries a 2840-lb payload. Options include a navigation system, a power sunroof, and a DVD entertainment system.
I assume the rest of the Ram lineup will adopt that front end and interior.
The navigation system is a nice option, but the dash is ugly. The front looks a little different, should make a decent refresh for the regular Ram, but I still don't like the interior. I also think having a truck this big is silly, but then again, I'm one of those crazies who thought the Excursion was too big.

lol
I think it looks too much like the Dakota, which the basic problem with that is the basic shape is kind of curvy, but other aspects are choppy (headlights and grill, bottom of this one).
