Okay, so I spent part of the day in a new Mustang, but I spent the other part in an 04 Corvette. I'm not a big fan of Corvette styling, but it's a distinctive, and decent looking, car. The interior didn't impress, the seats were exceptionally comfortable, but basic design and materials looked like I might have taken them out of a Tahoe or Impala. The projection display on the windshield was the only interior feature I really liked. But, in spite of all those shortcomings, the engine made up for a lot. It was loud, and abrasive in all regards, but it shot you off to insanely high speeds at the blink of an eye. I had literally never been thrown back in my seat like I did today with the Vette. It was exciting, to say the least. Anyway, the Corvette is fun, everyone should drive one at one point or another in their life, but I don't think I'd buy one.

Haha... I guess I didn't mention that. A friend of mine's mother just got the Corvette a few months ago, and she needed to borrow his truck (Avalanche ) for the day, so he was driving her car.

You have cooler (or at least richer) friends than I do.

Haha, not all of them are that way. My best friends aren't actually, but this guy's father is an anesthesiologist (I think that's spelled right) and they've done rather well for themselves.
