That's really sad. Though I'm not sure why you'd want to steal that car. Unless it has something special to it I'm not seeing.

Read through the thread. The owner detatched it himself to get the car free.

I believe he detatched the trailing arm to get it loose.

I didn't read it. I guess I just misinterperted what "booted" meant. That's a pretty evil prank. Kindof like when I put "The Club" on someone else's car when they left it unlocked. I gave them the key to get it off, but not until they'd had a good fifteen minutes of trying to figure out how to get it off, after they'd figured out there was no way to turn their steering wheel with it on.

Anyone see the episode of the Simpson were Homer's car was stuck in a parking lot in New York with one of thoses things on it? That's my all time favorite episode.

That's probably the case. There were a lot of things pulled after 9/11 that have been put back on in the last two years.
