As anyone who posts on the C/D forums already knows, I am the proud new owner of a Mazda 3. I placed my order Saterday for a Carbon Grey Mica Mazda 3s GT. It pretty well equipped with the 2.3L 160hp engine, GFX package (body colored grill, side stills, fog lamps, etc, with a power moon roof and 17" alloy wheels) along with a the 6 speaker stereo, heated mirrors and rain sensing wipers. The interior is black with blue inserts. It's suppose to arrive in 2-3 weeks. I can't wait, the 3 is one of the most fun cars I have ever driven!

Man, the waiting must be driving you nuts. I got mine off the lot. Only had to wait a day while they prepped it."
Waiting for a new car is always enough to drive you insane. Our Camry was ordered out of Illinois, so we only had to wait about a week, but when you haven't bought a new car in a while, just knowing that there's one out there with your name on it, and you can't have it yet, can make you crazy. But it's a good crazy.

That "crazy" beats the hell out of knowing that you've got a crappy car and will continue to indefinitely.

Well, I'm in a stage right now of "the cars are fine. Not new, not top of the line in anyway anymore, but fine", but the odds of me getting a new, or different, vehicle are extremely low for the forseeable future. As it stands now, the only way I'd even get a different vehicle is A. I get tired of the Dakota, and replace it, but it'd just be another used truck, or B. The cars are involved in a wreck bad enough to require replacement. However, that is better than your situation, I suppose. Is there no chance of any kind of upgrade in the forseeable future?

Well, I'm currently helping an elderly woman car shop for a replacement for her 96 Camry, which no dealer will take as a trade in because it has a salvage title (runs fine though). I'm hoping to acquire that for a decent price sometime in the next year when she upgrades.

Besides, I own a 92 Camry... I wouldn't have kept it around if I didnt think there was something worthwhile in that generation of Camry. What trim is it?
