Didn't they do this a while back? Or was that Motor Trend or something?

I'm actually rather pleased with the LaCrosse review, their only major beefs really (that would also matter to me) was the chassis and poor amenities.
I don't see much of a shock either, the other reviews were about the same as everyone elses and I expected those placing results, so what was all the hype on C/D?

They think Edmunds is biased for "chosing" a fully loaded $37,000 Avalon as their test vehicle when the Ford was almost $10,000 less, among other things.

Whatta ya mean?
I forgot about the Avalon pricing, that is quite a wide price range in my opinion, but I'm not worried about it.

The V6 models have always had a different headlight design from the Hemi-equipped versions.
People were bound to be annoyed. Between the domestic trolls, the Toyota trolls, and the hate-them-all trolls, someone was sure to find fault with the comparison. I liked the reviews, and agreed with them for the most part. All are good cars, and they simply chose the one they felt was best. I don't see what all the whining on C&D is about.
A few people (reputable posters too) suggested that Edmunds was chosing the car based on where their advertising was coming from, and continued to even after they were informed how long Edmunds' "featured vehicle" on their homepage was a LaCrosse.

Even reputable posters can suffer through bouts of stupidity. I'm no exception to that, either, so I'm not making fun of them, it just happens.
Avalon interior has the loudest rattling, yet it gets best pick for interior build quality. And for the Avalons price, they should have out the HEMI in the 300.

Agreed, it's odd. I think they should have waited and done it with a production Avalon (the one I rode in was silent, no rattles, I think they fixed that issue) but the price imbalance was the most blatant problem.
