Strikes me as a photochop. Chevrolet is moving away from the grille bar, it wouldn't make sense for them to introduce an 06 model with one.

They introduced this at SEMA a while ago, I just now found it, though.

I think its a production vehicle, because I don't think that GM would make a list of colours for a concept car.

It's not listed on the Chevrolet site as an "upcoming vehicle" along with a full line of other 06 models.

Hmm. It'd be an interesting offering though. I don't especially like how the Cobalt looks in sedan form, but an SS version would still be nice.
