I dont remeber all the cars my Dad has owned (dont know any cars my Mom owned), but it includes these: 65 Mustang - he drove it in college, it died when it and several dozen other cars were parked in a field for some event, the dry grass in the field caught on fire and destroyed all the cars (it was in arizona, not much rain) VW Rabbit Chevy Celebrity Mazda 626? 90 Honda Accord (90-november 01, currently being abused my my uncle) 95 VW Jetta (95-98) 96 Toyota Camry (98- present) - Moms current car 02 Camry (nov 01 - sometime later this year, its being traded in after its paid off) Dad's current car 90 Nissan Maxima (June 04 - present) I drive it, but my dad owns it

He bought a new Ram?!? How could a GM loyalist like yourself allow that to happen?

At the time there was no Quad Cab Chevrolet, and he liked it better. You might notice in the Car Shopping thread that I haven't requested hardly any GM vehicles.

That's because we thought you wanted to buy the BEST available car.

Forgot the Avalanche, didn't you?
Also, there have always been crew cabs of the Silverado/Sierra 2500 and 3500, just not the 1500.

We want the best for us, and the Dodge was the only one with six seats.

We didn't like the Avalanche, too much plastic, either they didn't offer it without at the time or something, but it wasn't very appealing no matter what (to them). I meant 1500 by the way.

The huge plastic side panels are very practical, but also very ugly. The ones without don't look much better though, in my opinion.
1982 Subaru Wagon (can't remember the exact model) 1987 Taurus Wagon 1992 Crown Vic 1994 Taurus Sedan 1997 Taurus Sedan 2000 300M 2004 Mazda6s sedan
plus 4 F150 pickups, a 1995, 1997, 1999, and 2005.
Just prior to my time my parents had a 1975 or '76 Toyota Celica GT (fastback, I think), which I believe was the first car they got after getting married. They also had a winter beater which was some kind of large Ford sedan (LTD maybe?).
Prior to marriage, my father had quite a few cars, especially considering he was married young. Ones that I know of include a 1967 Corvette, a 1970-something Porsche 914, and a Chevy Corvair. I don't know the exact year on the Corvair, but it was a second generation car, so mid to late '60s. I want to say it was a Monza Spyder version. It still kind of amazes me how my old man went from owning several pretty fun and sporty cars to a series of some of the most boring, practical cars on the market.
I don't believe my mother really had her own car prior to getting married, but her parents had a Ford Pinto as a second car that she drove around in.
