Full-Size Crew-Cab Pickups

A lot is going on in the truck market right now. And we need threads, so I'm making a full-size truck poll.

This group includes only V8, crew-cab pickups (except the too-expensive Escalade EXT, Sierra Denali, and Mark LT). Please vote only for the version listed.

Please post:

1). Your favorite, along with a sentence or two about why you chose it.
2). A complete order of all the vehicles, ranked first to last.
3). An explanation of your reasoning behind your least-favorite.
4). Anything else that you think is necessary to explain what you think.

And be prepared to defend your rankings, so have a reason for everything. Don't leave any vehicles out either.

Oh, and of course have fun, and everyone has to post.

My order:

1. Toyota Tundra (Most comfortable ride and interior, most refinement, most reliable, competitive pricing).
2. Titan
3. F-150
4. Silverado
5. Ram
6. Avalanche (A Silverado with a pricey gimmick that's annoying to use.)

My list:

1. Tundra Double- nicest interior, most comfortable overall, high-end features, comparable power, and as much towing as I'd ever realistically need.

2. F-150

3. Nissan Titan

4. Dodge Ram

5. Silverado

6. Avalanche- An ugly-fied version of the Silverado that costs more without having a nicer interior or engine.

And as for capability? The Tundra may have comfort, but to sacrifice that for power and towing. The Ram also has a better interior than the Silverado. My order:

1.) F-150

2.) Titan

3.) Ram

4.) Silverado

5.) Tundra

4.) Avalanche

Kevin, either you forgot how to vote, or you forgot to vote, as there are currently no Titan votes.

I can in no way understand ranking the Tundra below a Silverado, but the Tundra isn't as wimpy when it comes to towing and payload as you might think.

It has a higher standard towing than the Ram (as specified in the comparison) and equivilant to the F150, it has a higher payload than the Ram or F150, and it's not too much less powerful than the Silverado. Considering most truck buyers don't use their trucks to the limit, or at all in many cases, I think the Tundra, for as much better as it is in the comfort, refinement, and feature quality areas, is the best overall choice.

Tundra- 282hp, 325lb-ft torque, 6500lbs towing, 1635lb payload

Ram- 345hp, 375 torque, 3650 (standard) 8500 max towing, 1300lb payload

Silverado- 295hp, 335 torque,7400 (s) 8400 (m)towing, 1701 lb payload

F150- 300hp, 365torque ,6500 (s) 9200 (m)towing, 1360/1560 payload
