If that means you like ifcars better than the real thing, then I whole heartedly agree.

I decided to see what a Freestar (a van I consider ugly) would look like with Freestyle headlights and a larger grille to accomodate for the difference in headlight size. It's not very good, but it was quick... What do you think?

I just realized I forgot to finish the bottom part of the grille. That makes it look dumb, so please don't say anything (I already know it)

Okay, and here's my Sequoia with GX470 headlights, and a grille I just made up... Made it angular, similar to the GXs, but still distinctly Sequoia.

It would probably look a little better if the headlights and grille moved higher up. I never personally liked the look of the Freestyle but like the Freestar, so I'm probably not the best judge on this.

Nice, a clean attractive chop. It looks bit like the CR-V though. It would be easier to see what it looks like if it's at an angle, but I know from experience how much easier it is to do a full-front chop.

Thanks... It wasn't great, there were a lot of little flaws, but I did both of them rather quickly, on a whim, so I didn't feel too guilty... plus facelifts are pretty easy... It's not like I was combining a car and an SUV or anything. It does kindof look CRV-ish... the bigger headlights of the GX make the Sequoia look kindof scared. It didn't look good at all with the regular Sequoia grille though, it looked like something was missing, so that's why I changed that.

I kindof thought that myself... How do you think I could make it look more appealing?

It's a Ford van, don't waste your time, it'll never be appealing.

Well, this isn't all of what I wanted to do to it, but it's late, and I ran out of time. I wanted to see if I could combine some SRX styling cues into the Equinox to make an edgier looking Equinox. All I did in this one is: Put in SRX headlight and foglight, revise upper grille, add bar to lower grille, and remove the running board. I wanted to make the rear view mirror color-keyed, but I'm having some difficulty not making it look really bad... so, here's what I have so far.

That thin second grille next to the headlight doesn't work. It would look better if the grille were just made wider to cover the empty space, or if the grille were left just as it was.

The SRX headlight fits quite nicely though, and I like the lower grille revisions.

Well, I'm not at home right now, so I don't have Photoshop, but I removed the bar using Paint, to give a general idea of what it looks like. I might Photoshop it later.

I never did like the styling of the new F-150, and I think I found out why.  I made the wasteline shorter: (this took like 2 minutes, so forgive the sloppiness)
