The cars in the polls are examples. And dont jump on me about specifics (Grand tourers are not sports cars, etc)
I go with the not so luxurious GT. They're less peaky and more torquey than sport compacts and street rally cars, and nowhere as heavy as the super heavy luxury GT's. Supercars are only bought in your dreams, and I prefer a litlle more muscular look. I don't like the musclecars because many of them are autos, and have too much of a bulky shape for me. I just don't like convertibles as much as hardtops, and I like they're shape more than roadsters and sedans.

If price weren't a consideration, a "big grand tourer" would be my choice, preferably the CL. Effortless power, good handling, luxurious and roomy interior.
With a closer-to-earth budget, a sports sedan (favorite being either the E55 for goodness and the CTS-V for value). Basically the same as above, just less so (what I voted for).
Cheaper still, I'm torn between a WRX STi or an S2000, depending on whether I need a rear seat and trunk.
It all depends on the price of the sports car because it could be low small and sleak and cost $40k (still a lot of money but whatever) or it could be low, small and sleak and cost $300K. I would have to go with whatever a GTO would be. Not too expensive, luxurious and sporty, especially now that it has the LS2. I also mean any other car in that range too, such as high end Mustang or Nissan 350Z.

Bigger roadster. Open top motoring with more space than a small roadster. Personally, I think convertibles are almost always better looking than their closed counterparts. Also, I wouldn't call a 360 Modena "small and sleek".
