Mustang for me. It's rear seat gives and decent-for-its-class trunk give it a measure of practicality, it's quicker, and it will probably ride better (haven't driven it yet) and handle just as well.
Ok, I screwed up. To properly compare them, the Mustang is the GT Deluxe not Premium. Which means it starts at 24,995.
So, I would choose the Z. Now before you start flaming, saying that I am a Nissan obsessed troll, I’d like you to know I hate how Ford styled the Stang. The old Stang which the new styling is based of off is awesome. But they added way too many lines and ridges in the metal, the foglights make it look funky, and the interior styling reminds me of a locomotive or something. That is the biggest reason why I chose the Z over the Stang. Then there are some other stuff…

I agree that the old Mustang looked much better than the current one. But styling alone isn't enough to make me chose the Z, especially considering that I'm no huge fan of its look either.
The Stang isn’t a lot faster than the Z. 0-60 is 5.2 and 5.4, and quarter mile times are also very similar. And if that’s not enuff power for the Z, part swapping with the Track model is the answer.

The fact that the Mustang is faster only adds to its benefits that I listed in my first post. It's really no contest for what I'm looking for.

I choose the 350Z, I, like Sarin, hate the new styling of the Mustang. So, the Z is better looking, inside and out imo, and power or price isn't much difference. I also don't care about the backseat, and I haven't been in either for such other things to help my choice. Also since it's my choice and not which is better, my biased has a little affect, if I wasnt' though I'd still take the Z.

I would choose the Z. I don't care for the Mustangs styling, and I like the interior in the Z better. I'm not sure of the performance difference, but I know the Z would not have me complaining.
