I'd say the evolution of the family vehicle would be an extremely interesting paper (if you do it justice). Describe the switch in the 1980s from wagons to minivans that killed off the large wagon market and most of the midsize wagon market, the switch in the 1990s from minivans to SUVs and the lessened, if not entirely diminished, popularity of the minivan, and the ongoing switch from truck-based SUVs to car-based SUVs and crossovers.

Uhhhhh.....how about the development of the diesel/rotary engines(pick one) Or you could do it on a brand with lots of history and prestige, like Ferrari or Mercedes.

That's a good idea, but I think it's too much work for me (I'm just lazy) and I don't have much time to do this report.

I actually found a lot of info on DeLorean just in books that I have (there's a lot more to it than you might know) and Lorinser, I did a report on Ferrari a year or two ago, so I wouldn't really want to do it again, I've also done Porsche, and I'm not a big fan of Mercedes either, but thanks to both of you.

Well, DeLorean is reasonably interesting.

How about the exploits of Malcolm Bricklin, his various successes and failures, and an analysis of his newest project, Chery Motors.

Bricklin crossed my mind too, I'll look up stuff for it just on my own time now that you mention it. Being a GM fanatic though, I figured DeLorean would be more appropriate.

Chery has been accused of copying a Chevrolet-brand car (itself a rebadged Daewoo) to sell on the Chinese market for a much lower price. Do a C/D search, you'll come up with a few topics.
