GMC Envoy vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee

Though I don't like either, I chose the GC because of its better ride, acceleration, and handling.

; power isn't too much of an issue, neither is ride, since it's not terrible. Handling might be an issue, but I don't care.

So the vote is 2:1 simply because of GM bias and without anyone listing a single benefit of the Envoy.

There is a difference between trolls, and having a different preference based on brand.

If you can name ONE benefit the Envoy has over the GC, I'll take it back. However, considering that you've probably never even sat in either vehicle, so you're just deciding based on exterior styling, I doubt you'll be able to come up with anything other than "it looks better IMO".

Exactly. I have been in a trailblazer, but not a GC. This is merely of which you would rather have, so I don't need a logical reason, and I never asked that you take it back.

I'll first admit that all I've done to the new GC is look through the window at it, I've never sat in one or driven one. BUT,
I voted for the Envoy. The GC is ugly, in my opinion, and I've always liked the Envoy styling. The Envoy's interior is very nice, maybe not as nice as the GC's, I don't know, really, but it's nice. And power wise the Envoy may not be as fast, but from my experiences with it, it's no slouch, and it'll tow too. I may be voting for it because I've always liked the Envoy, had a "soft spot", as was said earlier, for it, which is noteworthy, because it was the first GM vehicle I'd liked in a long time. Still is.

Sad. All the people with no experience whatsoever with the GC vote against it simply because of its styling.

Well, I might reconsider it when I've been in one/driven one, but if they hadn't made it so ugly, it wouldn't be so vulnerable.

And I wasn't kidding when I said that I really like the Envoy. It'd take a lot for me to choose the GC over it. And the styling is a big negative for me.

Actually I voted the opposite. Against the Envoy not necessarily because of the styling but because I've spent some time in one and I didn't like it personally. I'm aware of the technical enhancements they made to the new GC and "questionable" looks aside I would choose it given the two choices.
