This could go on forever, but.......


First I would like to point out that I think neither is better, I just have a preference.


PS2:



  1. Brand loyalty

  2. More games

  3. Gran Turismo, GTA (at the time), and other games not available on Xbox

  4. More comfortable controller (imo)

  5. Don't need a playback kit

Xbox:



  1. Microsoft product

  2. Graphics are a kind of better on some games

  3. HALO!

  4. No memory card (although my friend's did crash, losing the memory)

Also, while some people might use freqent 'Disc read error' problems as a reason, it is easily fixed by taking off the cover and gently wiping the lens with an alcohol dipped Q-tip.
