I'll have to wander out to the mall tomorrow and see if I can find a copy. And since I have no homework due after tomorrow, I have all kinds of time to play

Sorry, I just never found the PS2 appealing. The GT games are supposed to be the best driving games, from what I hear, but they're not worth me buying another game unit, when I hardly use the one I have as it is. It gets more time as a DVD player in the bedroom than it does as a game unit.

Yeah, too bad you have to buy a stupid kit to get the Xbox to play DVDs. PS2 will play them right out of the box.

For the record, I've never owned a video game system in my life and don't plan to change that, so we definitely haven't all been waiting.

That's okay, I actually just went to a Halo 2 war Sunday.  I don't think either one is better, but I prefer PS2 for their games and kind of brand loyalty.  The main reason I'd get an Xbox is for Halo.

I sometimes think I'm the only one on the planet born post 1980 that never got into video games. My experience stopped at MarioBros for original Nintendo. I'm not exactly sure what that means but that's my story.

I love the classic games. I had a Super Nintendo back in the day, and then I got an Xbox about six months ago because I'd heard I "had to" play some of the games, and the graphics were supposed to be stunning. That, and I could get a component video kit for it, and it's a DVD player in my bedroom. I often wished I'd had a Nintendo 64, it had some of the best games, I think, but I don't own many video games.

I actually skipped an entire generation of game machines. We got an original NES back in the 80s (actually, my father bought it or it was given to him, I forget now, but it was his). Never had a Super NES or Sega Genesis. Then my brother and I pooled our money for an N64 maybe a year after those came out. Then I bought a PS1 for myself and later a PS2 when those came out.

Still like the old Nintendo games, though. I remember sitting and playing Paperboy all the time as a kid, and never being able to make it past Saturday. Then I got up one morning a few years ago, and just for kicks decided to throw Paperboy into the NES and play it. Wound up beating the game my first time through after not playing it for years. The original ExciteBike is still a blast too. And Top Gun, with its super challenging landing and refueling sequences. Good times.

Oddly enough I know more people now in college that have original nintendo than I did when I was a kid. It seems every other apartment I'm in has it. To me it's better playing now too. Alcohol seems to enhance my spitfire reflex.

You can take it once your 13, and my parents signed me up for it last year for practice. Now they added essays, so my parents want me to take it.
