None of my friends have anything but cars from the Big 3 (I can think of one, but that's by girlfriend's friend) I can't think of one person that lives around here that I know with a foreign car (except one neighbor has a BMW Z3, and a girl I know whose my neighbor has an older Jaguar XJ)

You need to get out of that town.

Right, then you can go to the University of Missouri, where you are likely to see your fair share of Civics and Integras.

I am NOT going to MU, I'm going to Truman State University.

I didn't have my college picked out before I was 16, but that's ambitious of you. That said, I know Truman, it's rather close to my hometown (Ottumwa, IA). I drive through Kirksville often on my visits to family in Ottumwa. In fact, I'll be driving through there on Thursday.

You may happen upon a Civic there as well.

I would hope so, Civics are popular with college students. Unfortunately, that section of the US is severely lacking in vehicle variety, it's predominantly big three in the cities. Especially Ottumwa, where I used to live. For a while my uncle may have owned the only two new Toyotas in town. It's somewhat better now, but still not very big on variety.

On my journey through rural VA, I stopped for gas in a reasonably-sized town (according to my map, it has 1,700 residents, and it has three car dealers and a Wal-Mart as well). I saw only three imports the whole ten minutes I spent in that town, out of well over a hundred cars (an older Corolla, an 80's-era Toyota pickup, and a Hyundai Accent). Also, literally every new car dealer I passed (six on the whole trip) was Ford-Mercury, Chevrolet-Pontiac, or Chevrolet-Buick).

The suburbs are the place to be.

That's actually at least 3 hours from Kirksville.  My brother lives there, too.

This morning to school I didn't see any foreign cars, except for like 5 inhe school parking lot.

It's 65 miles. How do you make that a 3 hour trip??? It takes about an hour, maybe a little over.

I was thinking Kirksville was farther south and Ottumwa was farther north, closer to Des Moines.  It's 2 or more from here, though.

Well, you thought wrong. Anyway, I'll be in Ottumwa as of tonight.
