Pretty nice.

What's yours, and how is it?

Mine's old, it's a 92 XLE V6, the interior has aged pretty well

(A picture from the CarDomain page I have for the car)

RE: New Mazda3

Are those aftermarket wheels or just the XLE wheels on your car?

These:

Are the aftermarket Pacers I put on it. Subtle, but a little sportier, I thought. The original wheels are these:

You got that right. I'll be going for a nice long drive to break it in as soon as I get it. I already got a road trip in it planned for the summer.

That reminds me, anyone have any tips for breaking in a new car?

The people (like an uncle of mine, who always buys new cars, and frequently (he can afford it) ) who buy new cars told me when I got the new Camry to be gentle for the first 1000 miles, vary the speed a lot (to make sure that things wear right, and don't get into one speed groove or something, they had some explanation for it) and not to go over 60 or 65. But, from what I've heard more recently, break-in is almost a thing of the past, as far as engine is concerned, and you should just be nice to it for the first 1000 miles or so. (red lining it right when you get it probably isn't the best idea, according to these people ) So, I guess I really don't know, but many people have told me the varying speed thing (in their words, cruise control for long periods of highway driving is a bad idea, go 5 miles an hour faster for a while, then drop it down, then drop it down some more, then go back up, that kind of thing)

The 3 technically needs no break in, but they tell you not to use the cruise control and or otherwise cruise at constant speeds for prolonged periods of time for the first 1000 miles.

So I shouldn't have to worry about taking it easy on the engine at first?

Salespeople told me that there was no real break in and that I didn't have to baby it, just not to hold steady speeds for prolonged periods for the first 1000 miles. I didn't take it above 3500 until it had at least 500 miles on it just to be on the safe side, but according to the dealer you don't have to do that.

What do you guys thinks about the rear spoiler? I've been debating getting one put on when it arrives, but it seems a little to expensive for something that doesn't do a hell of a lot.

This:

On this:

Mine isn't an SP 23 like the one in the second pic as such (they have different packages in Canada) but it looks identical minus the badging on the side.

It looks all right, but considering how much they probably want for it, I'd avoid it.

I like my spoiler for looks alone, and I know it's not doing much of anything, however I wouldn't put one on your car. The 3 looks great on the rear end with that lip spoiler, and I think a traditional spoiler would make it look... funky. I say, save some money, and leave it the way it is.

Mine wouldn't have a lip spoiler. The lip spoiler cost ~$450 and the other one costs ~$500, so I figured if I was to get one I'd pay the extra few dollars and go with the wing style.

I like it with neither spoiler myself, and the additional $500 in the bank couldn't hurt.

If it doesnt come with a spoiler then, I don't think I'd add one. The 3's rear looks good just by itself, too.

Personally, I think the car looks fine without, but the lip spoiler looks fairly good, albeit likely won't be as noticeable as a a full fledged "wing". However, I don't think the wing looks very good. The car has a short rear deck which I don't feel is well suited to wings.

I thought the same thing a first but it's been growing on me.
