Pictures won't load here! I'm very happy there'll be a diesel version, but I wish there were specs on the 3.5 engine model, because the 2.5 just won't be enough for me.
Looks nice, all though the grill gives it an odd puckered up look. I like the Altezza IS better though.

I wish they'd made the taillights less GS and found a way to incorporate more Altezza into it, the only vehicle which the Altezza style lights actually looked good on. I think the front bumper needs some revision, but it's a good looking car overall.

I hate the Altezza lights on almost any car (I say almost because there may be an exception that I haven't thought of), the all-reds are a welcome improvement.

The profile does look like a slightly stretched Mazda3, I agree. Proportions are a little better than the Mazda, IMO. I think the car looks pretty good overall.

I didn't really notice much 3 in it at all, but after looking at the pictures side by side, I can see some similarities. I doubt there'll be any confusion on which is which, though.

Oh, they definately won't be mistaken for one another. It's really only the side profile that I see the similarities in.
The profile of the Lexus looks kind of like a slightly stretched 3 (and looks better proportioned than the 3 as well, IMO).
Another thing that I neglected to comment on are the new gauges. While I like the new, more traditional gauge cluster, I'm kind of sorry to see the old one go. I know the old chronograph style cluster drew criticism for being kind of confusing and hard to read, but I liked it because it was something different while actually looking kind of cool (ignoring functionality and legibility for a moment). But then, I love chronograph watches, so it's no surprise I liked the old gauge cluster.
The rest of the interior looks top notch. A step up from the old car. Really, the interior of the old car was its biggest drawback. It seemed more fitting for a Toyota than a Lexus branded vehicle. I wouldn't really call it cheap, but it was cheaper than the norm for the marque. This new interior is definately all Lexus.

I agree. I think I'll kindof miss the chronograph gauges as well. They were kindof a trademark. Like the clear taillights.
