You can donate tons of money to charity and still live extremely well. (Just ask Mr. McClain, the guy with the BMW760Li, Range Rover, LS430, XJ8 Vaden Plass, and a huge house who just donated $500K to a local college)

Never said that you couldn't live extremely after donating money to charity. But paying $30,000 extra for something that's only marginally better is wasteful no matter how much you have.
