2007/2008 GMC Lambda

Flint Journal Autos
This "spy photo" shows what appears to be a completely new GMC. It would be the first of a new type of sport-utility vehilce that General Motors is expected to market through GMC and Pontiac. These compact SUVs feature third-row seating; four-, five- or six cylinder engines; and front- or optional four-wheel drive. There's no sign of a handle for the rear doors. Look for the new SUV to be in production by 2007, possibly at a Lansing-area plant.

The Lamdba is a midsize SUV platform, and will be used for SUVs and minivans. I doubt this article is correct that it will be used for compact SUVs though.

Buick?  What exactly are you referring to?

I do like the LaCrosse quite a bit, and the Lucerne is very nice looking too (it looks a lot better in person).

The front actually looks pretty cool, but the side is very strange. Kindof Nissan-ish.

This will go hand and hand with the Yukon right? Not to replace?

This is supposed to be a Blazer/Jimmy type of thing I think.

Oh, I see. The styling on the side remindes me of the Xterra. But the front looks like the grafyte (<spelling) concept.

Yeah, it's an interesting combination.
