So basically, he needs a job doing something where he can have complete disregard for spelling.

A job that requires thinking would also be a bit difficult.

I was Spelling Bee champion for 4 years, then I realized it was stupid.  And a lot of it is due to rushing, multitasking, and my 'typing disorder'.

Haha... Seriously though, state stereotypes are very unfair. I always thought ill of Arkansas until I moved here. Southern Arkansas is pretty accurate for the stereotype, but not any of the cities over 15,000 people, or the north part in general. Missouri, except for rural south, isn't that bad either. It's just not nice to judge a whole state on antiquated stereotypes. Unless it's Texas. They deserve it.

Gifted Kevin is solid evidence that Missouri stereotypes are accurate.

That's like judging a movie on the opening font, the first thing from it is stupid so you expect the worst.

Exactly, and southern Missouri is better than northern in big cities like Branson and Springfield. (I guess you said rural south, though.  Nevermind.)

It doesn't have many residents, though it's pretty crowded (I think that was his point). However, describing Branson as a "big city" is a bit disconcerting. How many people live in your town, Kevin?

Branson has a tourism rating of 7,000,000 people a year, but when we're talking about educational/intellectual stereotypes, I don't see how he can figure in anything other than the ACTUAL population. The tourists certainly aren't getting educated while they're there. Springfield is decent sized, but it's not exceptionally big either, at 151,000 people.

If you've ever been there, (I'm assuming you have) it's posted right on the city limits sign.
