Anyway, your proud claim that you knew "more about Mercedes than Toyota and Honda" (backed up by the fact that you often see the new SLK) was the source of my comment on your vast knowledge of Mercedes.

I said "I know of more Mercedes here than I do of Toyotas/Hondas" meaning there are more Mercedes around that I know are here than there are Toyota/Hondas.

You're just surprised because you weren't involved. Look back through a few worthless discussions in which you were active, and you'll see that they came out as long or longer, and were typically about something similarly pointless.
