GMPenguin's Automotive and Etc. Obituary

As of May 11, 2005, GMPenguin's Automotive and Etc. has been officialy been declared dead.  GMPenguin's Automotive and Etc. was started at it's first location on September 28, 2004.  We gained a total of 34 members there.  GMPenguin's Testing Thread was their 'halo' thread, a place for members to chat about the little things not important enough for their own thread.  GMPTT was at 114 pages, I believe (20 posts per page), when the forum crashed.  After a few more crashes the members decided to move to a new location, the one you are looking at.  This took place November 7, 2004.  During the switch, almost half were lost, but within time we grew to 31 members.  While the number of of active posters decreased, the forum remained up and very active.  I would like to personally think each of those members who took the time to participate.  After a while a homepage was created, albeit with more free software.  It was never finished, and now there is no need (please excuse the homepage, the software used for creating it messed up).  With the introduction of CarSPIN on May 4, 2005, GMPenguin's Automotive and Etc. experienced a rapid decline in activity.  Within the next week, the active members decided to move to CarSPIN, putting GMPenguin's Automotive and Etc. to sleep.  It will be missed, but good times can now be spent at our forumites' new home at CarSPIN.
